On Friday the time had finally come: the delivery with the first 10 Looping Louie add-on “Kamikaze Louie” boards arrived. I populated one of the little PCBs right away, as you can see in the photo above. On the left the prototype on perfboard and on the right the new Kamikaze Louie board in version 1.0. The following pictures show close-ups of the front (left) and the back (middle) of the board. Over the next few days I still have to adapt the program to the pin assignment of the new board, and then there will be another video showing the new board in action.
Once again my special thanks go to Daniel for cleaning up the circuit and doing the layout in Eagle. And also to Tilman for taking the photos.
UPDATE: I’m currently getting a lot of e-mail inquiries about the Kamikaze Louie board. Unfortunately, due to lack of time and the sheer number of inquiries, I can’t answer them all individually right now. But you can sign up for the newsletter to stay up to date.
UPDATE 2 (November 4, 2011): Sales of the kits will start soon. The shop is already set up. Only a few important formalities are still missing. There will be detailed assembly instructions for the kit here on the blog. As soon as things get going I’ll let you know via the newsletter. Thanks again for your patience.
UPDATE 3 (December 20, 2011): The shop is now online at https://shop.mariolukas.de. That’s where you can get the Kamikaze Louie kits.
