Over the last few months I’ve once again had quite a lot on my plate. Above all, the new software for the FabScan 3D scanner had to get finished. In between there were countless events such as Maker Faires etc. So I didn’t get around to writing about my work as a book author any earlier.
In January of this year I met up with five other authors and a few more supporters at Watterott Elektronik in Leinefelde. That’s where the idea for our book Licht & Spaß was born. The book was then published in June, right on time for the Maker Faire in Hannover.
Across 18 projects, the beginner maker is introduced to topics such as Arduino and LEDs. The complexity and level of difficulty increase with every chapter, yet all projects have been selected and described in such a way that anyone is able to rebuild them with little prior knowledge.
I had a lot of fun with the book project and I’m curious to see what comes next. At this point I’d like to thank everyone involved once again for the great collaboration.
